Relationship between smells, body, mind and soul.

The olfactory sense is an extension of the brain and acts mainly at an unconscious level. The olfactory nerves connect to the structures of the limbic system (the "primitive" part of the brain), where emotions are found, and to the more "evolved" centers such as the neocortex. In both places, the aroma leads us to remember places, events, people and sensations that are closely related to that smell. This is called neurofusion.

Dr. Candace Pert, author of Molecules of Emotion, discovered that there are chemicals of emotion. That is, every emotion is linked to a chemical and our body has to vibrate at a certain frequency to experience an emotion. This means that to change the way we feel something, we have to change the vibrational frequency of the body. Emotions can be described as energy in motion.

Scents, emotions and memories are closely related. Aromas can reach deep, unconscious parts of the body to dissolve old emotional patterns, influencing the body, mind, and soul.
